#1. District Binh Thanh, Landmark 81 Japanese Style Curry CoCo Ichibanya Review
Coco Ichibanya, a famous Japanese style curry restaurant, operates four locations in Ho Chi Minh City, located in District 1, District Binh Thanh, and District Thu Duc. This Japanese franchise is famous in Asia, and is loved by both locals and foreigners for its high-quality curry at a lower price compared to Japan or other Asian countries.

On Wednesday evening, my wife and I visited the branch on the first floor of Landmark 81 for dinner. It's not as large as other branches in Ho Chi Minh City that occupy entire buildings, but it's still quite spacious.

In addition to water, Pepsi, and 7-up, they offered a wide variety of beverages, including coffee, beer, and juice. They offered two beers, Sapporo and Heineken, and only one zero beverage, Pepsi Zero.

My wife's order, the Clam + Spinach + Tomato Curry, arrived first. This curry tasted better than it looked. The unique savory flavor of the clams, the aroma of the spinach, and the refreshing the tomatoes complemented the curry perfectly.

I ordered the Beef Omelette Curry. It was a soft omelet on rice, surrounded by a curry with chunks of beef. I chose spiciness level 3, which was a little less spicy than Spicy Chicken Flavor Noodle, so I was able to enjoy the curry, which could have been bland, even more.

The deep flavor of Coco Ichibanya's curry, the soft and creamy omelet, and the beef topping all blended together perfectly, leaving me with a great sense of satisfaction. The beef was a bit tough, but it wasn't hard to eat, and size was generous, with six pieces.

I ordered a few toppings, including a boiled egg(12,000 VND) and bacon(20,000 VND), which are inexpensive and go well with the curry. The bacon, contrary to its appearance, isn't as salty as it looks, which is nice.

Among the various toppings offered at Coco Ichibanya, the Pork Cutlet is particularly delicious. The price is reasonable, the size is just right, and it pairs well with curry, so I order it every time I visit.

Coco Ichibanya in Ho Chi Minh City offers a generous portion of decent curry at a reasonable price compared to Japan or other Asian countries, making it a definite must-visit for those who enjoy Japanese curry.
